Claudette is a character from The Room. She is the mother of Lisa.
Most of Claudette's scenes involve just her and Lisa and follow a similar formula. Lisa will say that she no longer loves her future husband Johnny and/or that she is in love with Mark. Claudette will advise her to stay with Johnny for financial security.
In one scene Claudette says to Lisa that "men and women use and abuse each other all the time; there's nothing wrong with it". She confesses to Lisa that she hasn't been happy since marrying her first husband and that she didn't even want to marry Lisa's father.
During the film, Claudette reveals that she is dying after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Lisa tells her not to worry about it and that everything will be fine, Claudette seems to agree. This is never brought up in the film again.
